Our Current Master's choice of Charity this year

The KIDS Orchard Centre in Stourbridge provides vital support and opportunities for children and young people with disabilities, helping them build independence, social skills, and lasting memories.

The KIDS Orchard Centre, based in Lye near Stourbridge, is part of the national charity KIDS, which works in partnership with families to ensure that children and young people with disabilities can reach their full potential. The centre is dedicated to offering tailored services that meet the unique needs of each child and their family.

Local Freemasons Support Foodbanks

Members from lodges across the region gathered to collect and deliver essential supplies, ensuring that families in need receive support during the winter months, this small act makes a significant difference to those experiencing hardship.
The initiative reflects the long-standing Masonic tradition of charity and fellowship which stemmed from the Covid years and still continues. Volunteers coordinate with foodbank staff to provide a wide range of items, from tinned goods and pasta to household essentials, helping to ease the burden faced by many households.

Freemasons Volunteers

WFV is a ground breaking initiative

Created to strengthen our fraternity’s commitment to community engagement. WFV is the very first service of its kind across all 47 Provinces in England and Wales, WFV proudly carries the endorsement of Sir David Wootton, Past Deputy Grand Master and 2nd Grand Principal, the Patronage of our Provincial Grand Master and Grand Superintendent Stephen Wyer, and the leadership of our President, Assistant Provincial Grand Master Paul Wong.
WFV will work hand in hand with the Worcestershire Freemasons Charity (WFC) in supporting charities and worthy causes throughout the Province. While WFC continues to oversee the stewardship of financial donations, WFV will complement this by empowering our members to contribute their most valuable assets, their time, knowledge, and skills in service to the community.

Worcestershire Freemasons Charity

Supporting those in need has long been a defining feature of Masonic activity in Worcestershire. As early as 1773, local Freemasons contributed 5 guineas towards the construction of the Worcester Infirmary. During the nineteenth century, they worked to ease the hardships brought about by industrialisation. Regular grants were made to causes.

With the growth of Freemasonry in the twentieth century, Worcestershire Lodges were able to extend their support to a broader range of worthy causes, many of which are highlighted here.

Today, in the twenty-first century, that tradition continues through The Worcestershire Freemasons Charity (Registered Charity No. 1204423). Funded entirely by Freemasons across the province, the charity remains committed to strengthening local communities, encouraging opportunity, promoting independence, and improving wellbeing.
